Magnolia 'Yellow Bird' Tree

This yellow Magnolia is considered one of the best yellow flowering Magnolias.  Considered a large shrub or tree, it is upright to pyramidal in habit.  It blooms in lemon yellow flowers, 3" across, blooming in the late Spring before leaves emerge.  Prefers full sun to part shade in a consistent moist and rich soil.  Excellent as a specimen or even in a cottage garden.   It can grow to a height of 35-40 ft., Spread 25-30 ft.
