Hydrangea 'Phantom'

Hydrangea 'Phantom' in my opinion is an underused white, panicle hydrangea that is sure not to disappoint. Huge flower heads that are not droopy. Hydrangea 'Phantom' has massive pure white blooms that fade to the classic pink as the season progresses. Pruning is done early spring to maintain the size of plant you prefer in your garden.  I prefer my phantoms on the larger size, in the very early spring I cut my hydrangea back to 2.5 to 3'. It is a very hardy shrub and flowers best in full sun to part shade. Great for mass planting or as an accent plant or focal point in your landscape.
