Hedging Plants
You can add formality or structure to any landscape with the addition of a hedge. Some plant hedges for privacy or a living fence option, while other grow hedges to frame a path or give a backdrop to more decorative plants. My favourite hedging plant is the Hill's Yew. It is a fruitless variety and extremely easy to grow and maintain. You can regulate the height of hedges with yearly pruning to ensure you have a plant that will handle snowload well.
