Emerald Cedar

Bright green, glossy evergreen.  Emerald cedar is a classic cedar when forming a hedge or looking for pyramidal evergreen in your garden.  Very low maintenance and can tolerate pruning to increase the plants formal appearace.  Prefers moist conditions.  Can be grown in part-sun to full shade. Height 15-20 ft., Spread 30-36".

NOTE:  These are top quality Ontario-grown cedars.  Yes they are more expensive than the big box store offerings of cedars sourced in Western Canada, ripped out bare root , shipped by train containers and handled through the big box distribution systems .  However, our cedars experience much less stress from harvest through planting in your garden which dramatically increases their survival rates.  They will trive in your landscape!
