Yellow Bird Magnolia

Yellow bird magnolia puts on a great show of yellow goblet shaped flowers in spring. The yellow flowers emerge just as the leaves. The flowers themselves are large and measure up to 3.5". Use this tree as a specimen in your lawn or border. 

Magnolias do well in well drained soil with a layer of mulch. They flower best in full sun. This yellow bird magnolia can reach up to 35' tall and 20' wide. They are single stemmed and their growth is pyramidal. You can never have too many magnolias!
