Limelight Hydrangea Standard

This tree-form hydrangea is grafted onto a standard to allow us to have bloom at eye level.  The hydrangea standards require a little maintenance, but you are sure to be rewarded. Give them a prune in late winter or early spring as they bloom on new wood. They sometimes require staking as their blooms are very large and heavy. Definitely a three season plant. Use this plant where height is desired. They are even great in a large container. This hydrangea features enormous panicles of flower heads.  (Think Dolly Parton) Flowers start off lime green and fade to white.   Blooms best in full sun. Height 6 ft., spread 6 ft.
